ASHLEY KALOSIEH, M.A., CCC-SLP

Ashley Kalosieh, founder and owner of Speech Path, LLC, received her B.A. at Boston College and her M.A. at the University of Connecticut. She has worked as a Speech and Language Pathologist both in the public schools and in private practice for over 20 years. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). In addition, she holds a professional SLP certificate from the CT State Department of Education and a SLP license from the CT Department of Public Health. She is licensed and registered to work with clients virtually via teletherapy who live in CT. She also has prior certification in elementary and special education

in MA and NJ.

Ashley is certified to work with all ages and speech and language needs. She has more extensive experience and specialization in working with school age children through young adults in pragmatic language/social communication skills, as well as, with stuttering/cluttering/fluency disorders. She also has significant experience in a range of other speech and language needs, which includes the diagnoses of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Autism, Down Syndrome, articulation/ phonological disorder, central auditory processing disorder, receptive/ expressive language disorder, among others.

Ashley's private practice is unique in that she is the sole provider. When you contact Speech Path, LLC for speech therapy, you will be receiving high quality services from Ashley Kalosieh herself and not potentially from less experienced SLPs or SLP assistants. This also ensures consistency of clinicians and thus therapy, often leading to more efficacious outcomes.

Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband, two teenage children and two bulldogs. She loves to exercise, read, and spend time with friends. She also enjoys volunteering, as she is currently serving as a board member and secretary of the non profit organization, Favarh, which helps adults with IDD.

PARENT REVIEWS

"We have absolutely love working with Ashley at Speech Path. She has been working with my 7 year old for over a year and he has made wonderful progress. She creates a warm and caring environment for him (and our family). My son's confidence has improved and he is able to generalize many of the techniques she's taught him. Ashley's knowledge and willingness to work not only with the child but the entire family has been amazing, I have learned so many tips and tricks from her. I highly recommend Ashley and Speech Path!"

"Having a child with complex needs, I have worked with many therapists over the years. Ashley is one of the best. She is patient and kind while remaining determined to help her clients achieve their individual goals. I highly recommend her practice!"
